Christmas Tree Delivery and Setup in Yorba Linda, CA
Tall entry, long driveway or a riding trail out front, your fresh fir still ends up standing straight in the living room, with January pickup already in the plan.
Frank Nixon built a small farmhouse on his family's citrus ranch in Yorba Linda in 1912, and it still stands on the grounds of the Nixon Library. Today the city is known as the Land of Gracious Living, and more than 100 miles of trails for hikers, bikers and riders run through it. Christmas tree delivery in Yorba Linda means planning around those trails, along with long driveways and tall two story entries.
Start with the tree, Noble Fir or Fraser Fir, then the height, which sets the price: $465 for a 6 footer, $589 for an 8 footer, plus tax. Here's what Christmas tree setup looks like: two people, as a rule, carry the real Christmas tree in, lower it into a sturdy stand we lend you, straighten it, give it a final check and leave the floor clean. You add the lights and ornaments, and once the holidays are over, the crew returns to collect both tree and stand.
Neighborhoods
Neighborhoods on our route, east to west
East Lake Village
Homes ring a private lake, and the community association looks after the greenbelts and clubhouse too. Lakefront and greenbelt doors may be a walk from the street.
Vista del Verde
Streets wind around Black Gold Golf Club, the city owned course built on an old oil field. View lots can sit above the street, so mention steps.
Main Street area
The original downtown, where older single family homes sit on bigger lots near the shops. A deep lot can mean a longer walk, so tell us how far.
Hidden Hills
Mostly custom homes from the 1980s and 1990s, on roomy lots with mountain views. Measure tall entries and note long drives before delivery day.
Kerrigan Ranch
A master planned community on the east side, with lots up to half an acre and trail routes toward Chino Hills State Park. Note any gate or long walk.
Christmas tree delivery in Yorba Linda: tall entries, trails and long drives
Picking the spot in a two story home
Plenty of two story homes give you a choice: under the tall entry, in the family room or by a front window. Decide before delivery day, keep it away from vents, radiators and the hearth, and check the height overhead. The crew sets the tree in the stand on that spot, straightens it and checks it, so you can start on the lights.
Riding trails and long driveways
If a riding trail runs along your frontage, tell us where a truck can stop without blocking it or a neighbor's drive. Add how far the walk to your door is and whether there are steps or a slope. From the truck to the stand, the carrying is ours, and unusual access means any extra charge gets settled with you before checkout.
Gates and HOA rules
Parts of East Lake Village are gated, and so are some other neighborhoods in town. List TreeDrop as a guest twice, once for delivery and once for the January pickup visit, and add the gate code or guard instructions to your notes. If your HOA has rules about trucks or guest parking, pass those along so the crew can stop close and get the tree standing quickly.
The local season
Holiday traditions in town and tree timing
The Nixon Library's holiday season centers on its evening tree lighting. This year's, A Revolutionary Christmas, is set for Tuesday, December 8, from 5 to 9 pm, with the Huntington Beach Concert Band, carolers from Foothill High School, Santa and his reindeer, and tickets are required. Around town, the city has run a holiday decorating contest with a Holiday Lights Map for evening drives past decorated homes.
If you'd like your own tree trimmed before the library's lighting, choose a delivery date in the first days of December or earlier. Thanksgiving weekend gives you the longest stretch to enjoy it.

January
Christmas tree pickup in Yorba Linda each January
Every order includes January pickup. When the window arrives, the crew is back at your door to take out the undecorated tree and the stand we lent you, and from there it's off to disposal, or to green waste recycling where a site will take it. Before then, remove every light, ornament and hook, and put us back on the guest list if you're behind a gate. You won't need to wrestle a dry fir down a long driveway to the curb.
Do you deliver on the east side, near Chino Hills State Park?
Yes. We cover the whole city, 92886 and 92887, including Hidden Hills and Kerrigan Ranch out east. Add notes about slopes, steps or a long drive, then pick your delivery date online. The price is the same anywhere in town, set only by the size of the tree.
Is there an extra charge for a long driveway?
Usually not, because the price is set by tree size. If access is truly unusual, such as a long carry up steep steps, we'll quote any added charge before you check out. Describe the walk from the street in your order notes so we can take a look.
What size tree fits under a two story entry?
Probably a special order tree. Our tallest standard tree is 8 ft, sized for a 10 ft ceiling, and a two story entry has room for more. Trees 9 ft and up are custom quoted and depend on availability and access. If the tree will live in a family room with a 9 or 10 ft ceiling, our standard sizes fit.
Why not just use the city's curbside tree collection?
You can, but ours comes inside. Republic Services, the city's hauler, usually collects live trees at the curb into early January and wants anything taller than 6 ft sawn into smaller sections. With TreeDrop, January pickup is already included, and the undecorated tree leaves through your front door in one piece, stand and all.
