San Juan Capistrano Christmas Tree Delivery and January Pickup
From the adobes of Los Rios to the hillside lots off Ortega Highway, our crew brings the tree inside, stands it up straight and returns for it after the holidays.
San Juan Capistrano and nearby communities on our route
On Los Rios Street, the Montanez Adobe has stood since 1794, one of three adobes left on a street that has been a National Register historic district since 1983. Most of San Juan Capistrano is younger than that, but the town keeps its village feel, with horse trails, hillside lots and a downtown built around the Mission. We offer Christmas tree delivery in San Juan Capistrano for homes of every age, from board and batten cottages to houses on graded hillside pads.
Noble Fir or Fraser Fir, the price only changes with height. A 6 ft tree is $465, an 8 ft tree is $589, tax is added at checkout, and the price already covers delivery, setup in the room you choose, the stand we lend you and January pickup. The crew, typically two people, brings the tree inside, settles it in the stand, gets it straight, gives it a once over and sweeps up after themselves. Lights and ornaments are your department, so pick your tree and date and save the fun part for later.

Christmas tree delivery in San Juan Capistrano, old homes and new
Historic homes and tight doorways
In Los Rios and the older streets near the Mission, a home can have a low doorway, a narrow hall or a living room smaller than a modern floor plan. Measure the door you'll use and the ceiling above the tree's spot. An 8 ft ceiling takes our 6 ft tree with about a foot to spare for the stand and a topper.
Hillside streets with few lights
The city's design rules keep street lights to a minimum in hillside neighborhoods, mostly at intersections, curves and the ends of cul de sacs. If your house number is hard to see from the street, mention it at checkout and add a landmark, a mailbox or a door color. It saves the crew a slow lap of the block.
Horse properties and second gates
San Juan Capistrano is known as an equestrian destination, with a large concentration of horses, stables and riding facilities. Some properties have a second gate, a long drive or a barn between the street and the house. Tell us which gate to use, any code, and where the truck can park without spooking anyone.
The local season
Capistrano Lights at the Mission and your tree at home
Mission San Juan Capistrano brings back Capistrano Lights on select days from December 18 to December 30, 2026. The program includes a tree lighting and music at 5:05 pm, a full scale nativity, and a light show projected on the ruins of the Great Stone Church at 6:15 pm. The Mission is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
By then the swallows have been gone for nearly two months, having left around October 23 as tradition holds. If you want your tree decorated before the light show starts, choose a delivery date with room to spare, then keep the stand full of water from the first day.

January
January Christmas tree pickup around town
Come January, the crew is back during the pickup window for the tree, stripped of decorations, and for the loaned stand. Take down every light and ornament first, because the crew doesn't remove decorations. If you live behind a property gate or on a horse property, leave the same access notes you gave in December so the crew finds the right driveway. After that, disposal is our job, with the tree recycled as green waste anywhere that's possible. Read how pickup works.
San Juan Capistrano Christmas tree delivery questions
Do you deliver to homes in the Los Rios Historic District?
Yes, Los Rios Street gets the same delivery and setup as anywhere else in town. If your cottage has a low ceiling or a narrow front door, measure both before you order; an 8 ft ceiling suits our 6 ft tree, and a tight doorway is easier with the smaller size. Note any parking limits nearby at checkout.
Which size fits a single story or split level home on McCracken Hill?
Go by the ceiling height in the tree's room, not the style of the house. In a split level, the main room can be half a flight above or below the front door, so measure in that room itself. Around 10 ft suits our 8 ft tree, and a vaulted room can special order something taller.
Do you deliver to Sendero, Esencia and Rienda?
Yes. Those Rancho Mission Viejo villages are on our route, and our Ladera Ranch page covers them in more detail, including gated neighborhoods and brand new streets in Rienda. The trees, sizes and January pickup are the same as here in town.
Do you serve Dana Point and San Clemente as well?
Yes, both coastal cities are on our route and have their own pages with local notes. The service is identical: your choice of Noble or Fraser, 6 ft or 8 ft, carried in and set in a loaned stand, then picked up in January. Taller trees are a special order there too.
