Villa Park started out as Mountain View, and it took a new name, borrowed from a town in Illinois, when the post office pointed out that California already had a Mountain View. Citrus ranchers incorporated the city in 1962 to keep control of its zoning, and their half acre rule still shapes it: about 2 square miles of homes, most on half acre lots. Christmas tree delivery in Villa Park is mostly about the walk from the street.
Next door, unincorporated Orange Park Acres keeps its equestrian roots. TreeDrop covers both with real Noble Fir and Fraser Fir trees priced only by height, $465 or $589 before tax, and you can book your tree online. A two person crew, in most cases, carries it the whole way in, plants it in a loaned stand, squares it up and cleans up behind themselves.
Neighborhoods
Where we deliver in and around Villa Park
Around City Hall
City Hall and a library branch sit inside the city's only shopping center. The homes around it follow the same half acre zoning as everywhere else in town.
Streets named for ranch families
Brewer, Nichols and Squire are among the streets named for the citrus ranching families. If your house sits well back from the road, describe the walk from the curb.
Orange Park Acres
Unincorporated land surrounded by the City of Orange, with many stables and equestrian areas. We cover it exactly as we cover Villa Park.
Along Santiago Creek
The creek marks the north edge of Orange Park Acres. Properties can be deep here, with long drives and gates, so put directions and any gate code in your notes.
Near Irvine Regional Park
The community's east side meets Irvine Regional Park, which is in Orange despite the name. Lots here start at 20,000 sq ft, so plan for a walk.
Christmas tree delivery in Villa Park: long drives, gates and horse trails
Half acre lots and long carries
With most homes in town on half acre lots, the front door can be a good walk from where a truck stops. Tell us roughly how far it is, whether the path has steps or a slope and if there's a side gate the crew should use. The crew does the walking, then stands the tree up and sweeps up after themselves.
Driveway gates and the right door
If your property has its own driveway gate, leave the code in your order notes or plan to open it on delivery day, then do the same for January pickup. Tell us which door to use, too. On a big lot the front door isn't always the easiest route to the family room.
Horse trails and quiet roads in Orange Park Acres
Orange Park Acres has fenced horse trails and few sidewalks or streetlights, in keeping with its equestrian roots. Point out a spot where a truck can pull over clear of the trail and any neighbor's drive, and make sure your house number is easy to read from the road. If horses are kept near your drive, mention it so the crew knows.
The local season
Holiday traditions nearby and tree timing
Irvine Regional Park, which became California's first regional park in 1897, sits just east of Orange Park Acres. Its railroad runs a Christmas Train from November 27 to December 23 this year, with a ride out to the North Pole to see Santa and a trip back through a tunnel of lights. Tickets are sold online only, starting November 2, and the railroad's Train of Lights usually runs evening loops after Christmas.
Because the Christmas Train starts the day after Thanksgiving, a delivery that same weekend means you can ride, come home and start on the ornaments. Once the tree is up, keep its stand full, since watering is your part of the deal.

January
Christmas tree pickup in Villa Park and Orange Park Acres
January pickup comes with every tree. Come the pickup window, the crew heads back up your driveway, brings out the bare tree along with our stand, then hauls the tree away for disposal or green waste recycling, depending on what's accepted locally. Have every light and ornament off by then, and leave the gate code in your notes again. The long walk out is on us this time too.
Yes. Orange Park Acres gets the same trees, prices and service as Villa Park, from setup in a loaned stand to January pickup. The same advice applies, too: tell us about trails, gates and the walk to your door when you order, and use your 92869 address at checkout.
Our family room is vaulted. Can we go taller than 8 ft?
Yes, by special order. Anything 9 ft or taller is quoted individually, hinges on what's available and needs a look at the access, which matters on a big lot with a long carry. Measure the ceiling at the tree's spot and keep roughly a foot free above it for the stand and topper.
Can the tree go in a guest house or casita on our lot?
Yes. Tell us in your order notes which building it's going to, how to get there from where a truck can stop, and any steps or gates along the way. The crew handles it exactly as they would in the main house: carry, stand, straighten, sweep.
Do you also cover Anaheim Hills and North Tustin?
Yes, both are close by and on our route. For the hills to the north, see Anaheim Hills Christmas tree delivery; North Tustin is covered under Tustin Christmas tree delivery. Trees, prices and January pickup match everywhere, so add your usual notes about gates and long driveways.
