Laguna Beach and nearby communities on our route

Laguna Beach climbs in a hurry: a few blocks from the sand, streets are already winding up into the canyons and ridges of the San Joaquin Hills. That shapes Christmas tree delivery in Laguna Beach more than anything else. The drive is rarely the hard part. It's the last stretch, from wherever the truck can stop to the corner of your living room, often by way of a staircase, and it's the reason a crew of two makes sense here.

Ordering takes a few minutes online. Both varieties, Noble Fir and Fraser Fir, are priced by height: $465 for 6 ft and $589 for 8 ft, plus tax. Once the tree is through your door, the crew settles it into a sturdy loaned stand, gets it standing true and cleans up any needles from setup. Decorating is your part. When January comes, they're back to carry the bare tree out and collect the stand.

Neighborhoods

Canyons, ridges and gated coves

  • Top of the World

The ridge neighborhood around Temple Hill, at the top of the steep climb up Park Avenue. Note any slope between the street and your door.

  • Bluebird Canyon

Homes along and above Bluebird Canyon Drive, one of three neighborhoods where street parking gets restricted during a Red Flag Warning.

  • Diamond and Crestview

Hillside streets around Diamond Street and Crestview Drive, also on the Red Flag parking list. If the nearest legal spot is up the block, a clear walkway helps.

  • Three Arch Bay

A private gated community of about 29 acres in South Laguna, where some oceanfront homes have pools built into the rocks at the tide line.

  • Emerald Bay

About 538 homes behind a gate, split by Coast Highway, with the only entrance on the inland side. It's outside city limits but on our route.

  • Irvine Cove

The gated neighborhood at the city's northern tip, the only part of Laguna Beach west of Emerald Bay, with a beach of its own.

Delivery day

Christmas tree delivery in Laguna Beach, one step at a time

Steps, slopes and the carry inside

Count the steps between the street and your door before you order, and put the number in your checkout notes along with any tight turns or a narrow side path. Two people, typically, handle the carry up or down and inside, then set the tree in its stand. If the access is out of the ordinary, any extra charge is confirmed with you before you check out.

Split levels and ceiling heights

If your house steps down the hill in levels, choose the room first and tell us which floor it's on. Then check that ceiling: 8 ft rooms take our 6 ft tree, 10 ft rooms take the 8 ft, and 9 ft rooms can have either. Keep about a foot free above the tree for the stand and a topper. Vaulted rooms can special order something taller.

Gates along the coast

Three Arch Bay, Emerald Bay and Irvine Cove each have a gate between the road and your street. Clear TreeDrop for the delivery date, then again for January pickup, and type any gate instructions into your checkout notes. If your house is down a private lane past the gate, a landmark or the color of your front door helps the crew find you.

The local season

Hospitality Night and Winter Fantasy weekends

Hospitality Night is Laguna's December street party, usually on the first Friday of the month, with carolers and musicians around downtown and Santa on hand for the tree lighting. Out on Laguna Canyon Road, the Sawdust Winter Fantasy runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 20 to December 20, 2026, 11 am to 7 pm, with handmade gifts, art classes and photos with Santa.

With Thanksgiving on November 26, the days right after it are a natural time to bring your tree home. That leaves a weekend to decorate before Hospitality Night, and the tree is up for the rest of the Winter Fantasy run.

January

January pickup, back down the stairs

Pickup is the same carry in reverse. Before the scheduled January pickup window, strip off the lights, ornaments and hooks, and clear the route to the door again so nothing snags on the way down the steps. Behind a gate, renew the guest list for pickup day. The bare tree and our stand leave with the crew, and from there we handle disposal, or green waste recycling wherever it's taken. Here's more on how Christmas tree pickup works.

Before we come back

Questions

Laguna Beach Christmas tree delivery questions

What happens if a Red Flag Warning lands on my delivery day?

Parking gets tighter in three neighborhoods. When the National Weather Service issues a Red Flag Warning, the city restricts parking to one side of the road in Bluebird Canyon, Canyon Acres and Diamond/Crestview, so the crew may need to park farther away and carry the tree a little longer. Keep your path clear and add the nearest legal spot to your checkout notes.

Is Emerald Bay covered even though it's outside city limits?

Yes. Emerald Bay is unincorporated, but it's on our regular route, as are Irvine Cove, Three Arch Bay and the rest of South Laguna. Order online with your Emerald Bay address and pick a date like anyone else in town. Prices match the rest of our route, and so does what's included.

Can the crew use my garage instead of the outdoor stairs?

Yes, if that's the easier route. When a garage sits at street level and connects to the house, it can save a long climb outside. Open it before the crew arrives, clear a path to the inside door, and say in your checkout notes that the garage is the way in.

Should I avoid Hospitality Night for my delivery date?

If you live near downtown, yes. In recent years, parts of Forest Avenue, Ocean Avenue, Beach Street and Glenneyre have closed to cars from about 3 pm on Hospitality Night, which usually falls on the first Friday of December. Pick a date earlier that week so the tree is up for the party.

A real tree for your Laguna Beach home, delivered and set up.

Two trees, two sizes, one price that covers delivery, setup and January pickup. Pick your date and we take it from there.
