Costa Mesa and nearby communities on our route

Most new single family homes in Costa Mesa are infill, built one at a time and mostly on the Eastside and Westside, so a brand new two story can sit right beside an original ranch house. That's why Christmas tree delivery in Costa Mesa starts with your ceiling, not your address. A flat 8 ft ceiling and a tall new great room call for different trees.

TreeDrop brings Noble Fir and Fraser Fir in two heights, $465 for the 6 ft and $589 for the 8 ft, with no price difference between the varieties. Two crew members, most of the time, carry your real Christmas tree inside, settle it into a sturdy loaned stand, get it straight and clean up after. The lights and ornaments are all yours. Come January, they return for the tree and the stand.

Neighborhoods

Costa Mesa neighborhoods we deliver to

  • Eastside

Original ranch houses, big mature street trees and a growing number of two story rebuilds. Tell us which kind of home you have when you order.

  • Westside

New infill homes keep going up here, right next to older originals. Ceiling heights change from one house to the next, so measure before you choose a size.

  • Mesa Verde

Between Harbor Boulevard and the Santa Ana River, around Mesa Verde Country Club, which opened in 1959. If your yard backs onto the course, tell us which door is easiest.

  • College Park

Between Merrimac Way, Wilson Street, Harbor and Fairview, where streets carry college and university names. If your ceiling is a flat 8 ft, our 6 ft size is the match.

  • Halecrest

Home of the private Halecrest Park Swim and Tennis Club on Killybrooke Lane. A clear driveway on delivery day keeps the carry to your door short.

Christmas tree delivery in Costa Mesa: ranch houses, rebuilds and condos

Single story ranch houses

In an original ranch house the carry is usually short and flat: truck, front walk, living room. Height is the bigger question. Beneath a flat 8 ft ceiling, our 6 ft tree is the comfortable fit, with headroom for the stand and a star. If a remodel opened up the ceiling, measure at the exact spot the tree will go; 10 ft or more is the 8 ft tree's territory.

New two story builds

A new build on the Eastside or Westside may open into a tall entry while the family room ceiling stays lower. Size the tree for the room where it will actually stand. If that room truly rises two stories, ask about special ordering something 9 ft or taller, which gets a custom quote and depends on availability and access.

Condos, townhomes and apartments

Plenty of addresses here come with a unit number. Add it to your order notes along with the floor, any stairs, a gate code and the best place for the truck to stop. Smaller rooms often suit the 6 ft tree. When access is out of the ordinary, we tell you about any extra charge before you check out.

The local season

Holiday traditions around town and tree timing

The Segerstrom family's tree lighting at Town Center Park, across the street from South Coast Plaza, usually happens on a Thursday evening the week before Thanksgiving, and the 2025 lighting was the 44th. Inside the plaza, Santa's Village sets up on level 1 of Carousel Court beside the Reindeer Carousel. In mid December the Snoopy House display, which began outside a family home on the Eastside, usually lights up the front of City Hall for a week or so.

Aim for a delivery date between Thanksgiving weekend and early December, and your tree will be dressed before Snoopy's week at City Hall. Fresh fir does best in a cool spot, well away from heaters and the fireplace.

January

Christmas tree pickup in Costa Mesa after the holidays

Your January pickup is already paid for. Inside the scheduled window, the crew walks the bare tree and our stand out the door, and the tree is either hauled to disposal or recycled as green waste where possible. Please strip off lights, ornaments and tinsel first. The Costa Mesa Sanitary District usually runs its own curbside tree collection for about two weeks in early January, but with TreeDrop nothing has to go to the curb.

How pickup works

Before we come back

  • All lights, ornaments and hooks off
  • Tinsel, garland and tree skirt off
  • Gate or guest list updated for pickup day

Questions

Costa Mesa Christmas tree delivery questions

Do you deliver to both 92626 and 92627?

Yes, across both ZIP codes, from Mesa Verde and College Park to the Eastside and Westside. Decide on Noble Fir or Fraser Fir, pick 6 ft or 8 ft and set your date when you order your tree. Gate codes, parking tips and stair counts go in your notes.

Do I have to cut the tree in half for January pickup?

No. That rule belongs to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District's curbside program, which wants any tree taller than 6 ft halved and set beside the trash cart on your usual day. With TreeDrop, the tree leaves your home in one piece during the pickup window, and the stand goes with it.

Do you sell flocked trees?

No. TreeDrop sells only fresh cut Noble Fir and Fraser Fir, never flocked, and you decorate them however you like. Plain trees also keep January simple, since the sanitary district notes that flocked trees can't be recycled. Ours are hauled off for disposal, or recycled as green waste wherever that's an option.

We're on the Eastside near the Newport Beach line. Are we covered?

Yes. The Eastside is on our route, and Newport Beach next door is covered too; see Christmas tree delivery in Newport Beach for that side. Prices don't change at the city line, and tax is added to either size. Notes about parking and stairs work the same way on both sides.

A real tree for your Costa Mesa home, delivered and set up.

Two trees, two sizes, one price that covers delivery, setup and January pickup. Pick your date and we take it from there.
